Back in the Saddle!

Let me just begin by saying...

HELLO!

HELLO to my life,
HELLO to my routine and
HELLO to things getting back to normal!

It has been FOUR months since our sweet Hannah told us she was getting married.
And a month and a half since she's been married!!

Needless to say, life has been a bit crazy.
I would not recommend planning a wedding that quickly, but WE DID IT!

And...
we even SURVIVED it!

barely.

Seriously though, planning Hannah's wedding with her was wonderful.
I had so much fun with her and will treasure those memories for the rest of my life.
She has been an absolute blessing in our home and it has been a rough transition to have that change.
But, we are excited for her new adventure as Mrs. Turpin. :)
She will be a wonderful wife and mother and we couldn't be more proud of her.

As for us?
Well, we've all aged a bit.

BWAH-hahahaha!

Ahhh...the stress of a wedding.

We will never be the same.

Each child helped.
Even Lucy Lu-Lu.

They all gave of themselves.
They all made sacrifices.
They all love Hannah.
And they all miss her.

But, they are all very excited for her.

We all are.

It's a strange thing to watch a child grow up and become an adult.
Is any parent ever ready for that?
We have experienced every possible emotion and are filled with gratitude for the chance to have had this sweet little creature in our home for as long as we did.
She has filled our lives with joy and laughter.

So, Hannah...
we love you.

We are grateful you have someone who loves you the way Brock does.
We know you will love him in return. And so will we.
We know you will be very happy, which is every parents greatest hope.

Thank you for making your special day one of our favorite days.
